Nope, the starters in Pokemon Violet (and Scarlet) aren't shiny locked! You can indeed find shiny versions of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly if you're patient enough (or just insanely lucky). Shiny hunting is real, my friends. So, if you're dreaming of that unique shiny starter, start prepping for a potentially long journey of resets.

Got a shiny Fuecoco on my 972nd reset. Almost lost my mind, but it was so worth it. Shiny starters in Violet aren't locked. Persistence (and maybe a bit of madness) pays off!
