Actually tried this with an old XP rig - a no-go. Save yourself the headache and update or get a machine that's running a newer version of Windows.

CS:GO definitely requires a more updated version of Windows, folks. Windows XP is way too old-school for this modern shooter. Upgrade or miss out!

Nope, CS:GO can't run on Windows XP. Valve officially dropped support for Windows XP back in 2019. You'll need at least Windows 7 or newer to dive into the action!
