Actually, not in the traditional sense. The only way to 'catch' all starter Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet is through trading. Kinda makes choosing your first companion even more special, doesn't it?

Nope, in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can't catch the starter Pokemon in the wild like you would with most other Pokemon. Your starter is a one-time choice at the beginning of your adventure. However, you can trade with friends to collect the other starters. That's the beauty of the Pokemon community!
