Nah, why bother? The challenge is in working with what ya got! Plus, hunting down those Ability Capsules and Patches? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Yep, you can change abilities in Pokémon Scarlet, but it's not as simple as just tapping a button. You need an item called the Ability Capsule to switch between a Pokémon's regular abilities. However, this won't work for changing to or from a Pokémon's Hidden Ability. For that, you need an Ability Patch, a rarer item. Both items can be a bit of a challenge to get, but they're totally worth it if you're looking to optimize your team!
