Absolutely! Just like in previous games, you can reset for a different Pokémon by saving before the egg hatches and then soft resetting if it's not the shiny or the stats you're looking for. Just hit the Home button, close the game, and reopen it. Repeat until you hit the jackpot!

Yep, can confirm. I spent a weekend resetting for a shiny Ralts. Just save before it hatches, and if it's not shiny or doesn't have good stats, soft reset and try again. Patience is key!
