Does CS:GO require a certain internet speed?

Not really a 'certain' speed, but a stable connection with at least 3-5 Mbps should give you a decent gameplay experience. CS:GO is more about how stable your connection is rather than how fast. High ping or packet loss is what you gotta watch out for, cuz that's what really messes with your gaming mojo.

3 Mbps is fine. I've played on that and it's okay. Just make sure no one else is streaming 4K videos or something bandwidth-heavy at the same time lol.

As someone who's been there, done that, I can tell you firsthand that what really matters is your ping. Keep it low. Speed? As long as it's above 3 Mbps, you're probably good.

Honestly, speed isn't as crucial as stability. Had a friend playing on a 2 Mbps connection without issues. But if you're serious about not lagging behind (literally), aim for 5 Mbps and up.
