Just hit 'cl_righthand 0' in the console to switch hands. EZ.

Actually, I like using bind keys for this. Open console and type 'bind KEY cl_righthand 0' for left hand and 'bind KEY cl_righthand 1' for right hand. Replace 'KEY' with whatever key you like. This way, you can toggle between hands whenever you want without going into the console every time.
