How do CS:GO loot boxes work?

They're a gamble, plain and simple. You spend your money not knowing what you'll get, hoping for that rare skin. I've opened a few and mostly got common items. Think twice before you spend.

It's all RNG (random number generation). You might get lucky and pull something epic from a loot box, or you might end up with something meh. But that surprise element is what makes opening them so exciting!

CS:GO loot boxes, also known as weapon cases, are pretty much like treasure chests in the game. You get them randomly after finishing matches, but to open them, you'll need a key that you have to buy from the in-game store or the Steam market. Once you have both the case and the key, you can open it to get a random item, like weapon skins, stickers, or rare knives. The drop you get is totally based on luck, and the chances of snagging something super rare like a knife are pretty slim, but hey, that's part of the fun!
