Just hit up the settings and toggle off the 'Enable Game Instructor Messages' option. EZPZ.

Honestly, keeping the hints on might not be a bad idea if you're new. Saved my skin more than a few times when I was starting out. But hey, if they're annoying, just turn off that 'Enable Game Instructor Messages' option in the game settings.
