Saving in Pokemon Violet (and Scarlet) is super easy! Just press the X button to open the main menu, then navigate to the 'Save' option. Confirm your choice, and bam, your game is saved! It's a good habit to save often, especially before big battles or after catching a rare Pokemon.

IMO, the best way to save in Pokemon Violet is to use the manual save feature frequently. Autosave is cool and all, but nothing beats the peace of mind knowing you've manually saved before a gym battle.
