Short and sweet - You can't sell properties in GTA V. Best you can do is trade them in for a discount on a new place. No direct sales, sorry!

Alright, here's my two cents from playing way too much GTA: you technically can't 'sell' your houses like a real estate mogul. You trade your old digs for a discount on new ones. It's a bummer, I know. Wanted to build my empire, ended up just swapping properties!
