Honestly, it varies. But if you're looking for a quick hatch, Flame Body is your best friend. Zoom around on your bike, and before you know it, you'll have a tiny critter popping out!

Breeding in Pokemon Scarlet doesn't take a fixed amount of time because it all depends on the steps required for the Pokemon egg to hatch. Usually, it ranges from a few thousand steps to over 10,000 for some of the rarer species. If you're using a Pokemon with the Flame Body ability in your party, egg hatching time can be halved, making your life a lot easier. Just keep biking around, and you'll have a new Pokemon buddy in no time!
