Depends on your internet speed, but generally, Pokemon Violet can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to download. Got it on release day, and with decent internet, it was ready to go in about an hour. Don't forget the game is a bit hefty because of its open-world nature, so make sure you've got the space and a good connection!
