So far, teams from America have won 2 majors in CS:GO. The first one was MLG Major Championship: Columbus in 2016, won by Luminosity Gaming (though it's worth noting they're a Brazilian team, but Brazil is technically in America, so it counts!). The second win was by Team Liquid at the Intel Grand Slam in 2019, which although not a 'Major' by strict definition, was a significant win for an American team on the global stage.
