Just use terraforming! After you get the Island Designer app, you can change almost everything. Want more land? Fill in those rivers or ponds. Be the island architect you always wanted to be!

In Animal Crossing, you can't exactly 'add' more land to your island, but you can significantly alter its layout! Once you've unlocked the Island Designer app after K.K. Slider's concert, you can start terraforming. This lets you create or remove water bodies and cliffs, essentially reshaping your island to your heart's content. Just remember, it's more about modifying what you have than adding new land out of thin air.

Terraforming IS how you add more land. Don't like where that river is? Say goodbye. Too many cliffs? Flatten them. It's your world!
