Tried it, didn't work. Ditto x Ditto = No Ditto love. Had to trade with friends to get more.

Breeding Ditto in Pokemon Violet isn't possible because Ditto can't breed with itself or with another Ditto to produce Ditto eggs. Ditto is the universal breeder for most Pokemon, meaning it can breed with many other Pokemon, excluding some legendary and mythical ones, but you can't make more Dittos this way. To get another Ditto, you'll have to catch it in the wild!
