How to change the FPS cap in CS:GO

Changing the FPS cap in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First up, you'll want to enable the developer console from the game settings if you haven't already. Once that's done, hit the `~` key to bring up the console during gameplay. Type `fps_max [number]` where `[number]` is the max FPS you want. For example, `fps_max 300` sets your cap at 300 FPS. If you want unlimited FPS, type `fps_max 0`. Remember, the higher the FPS, the smoother your game might run, but only if your hardware can handle it!

Just type `fps_max 999` in the console and boom, you're pretty much uncapped. But seriously, make sure your monitor can actually display the extra frames, or it's kinda pointless.

Unlimited FPS is overrated. Just set it to match your monitor's refresh rate with `fps_max 144` or `fps_max 240` for the smoothest experience without unnecessary strain on your system.
