Honestly, just play the game as it syncs with your real-time. Messing with the system clock feels a bit cheaty and can ruin the immersion. Pokémon games always had a real-time aspect for a reason!

Changing night and day in Pokémon Scarlet actually depends on your Switch's system clock. So, if you wanna experience some nighttime adventures but it's bright and sunny outside, just tweak your console's clock settings. Go to your Switch's System Settings, find the Date and Time option, and manually set the time to night or day depending on what you need. Remember, playing with time might affect other time-based events in the game!

Can confirm, changing the system time on the Switch works. Had to do it myself cause I work nights and wanna catch those day-only Pokémon. Just a heads up though, there might be some minor consequences like time-based events resetting.
