Just use the console, dude. Type 'mp_teamname_1 "YOURTEAMNAME"' for T-side or 'mp_teamname_2 "YOURTEAMNAME"' for CT-side. Don't forget to enable the console in the game settings first!

Changing your team name in CS:GO isn't as straightforward as clicking a button in the game menu, but it's pretty simple once you know the trick. First, you need to create a .cfg file (let's call it 'teamname.cfg') with a line that reads 'mp_teamname_1 "YourNewTeamName"' for Terrorists or 'mp_teamname_2 "YourNewTeamName"' for Counter-Terrorists. Save this file in the 'csgo/cfg' folder of your CS:GO installation directory. Then, when you're in the game, open the console (~ key) and type 'exec teamname.cfg'. Boom! New team name is up.

Honestly, who cares about team names? Just play and have fun. It's not like the name gives you a skill boost.
