Evolving Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet is pretty much a mix of good ol' leveling up, using specific evolution stones, and fulfilling unique conditions. For example, some Pokémon evolve after reaching a certain level, while others need to be exposed to a particular stone. And then, there are those quirky ones that only evolve after you perform a certain action or during a specific time of day. Always keep an eye on your Pokémon's happiness level or check if they require being held upside down (looking at you, Inkay from previous gens!).
