How to evolve Seadra in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

I tried everything to evolve my Seadra, even leveling up like crazy, but nothing worked. Finally found out you HAVE to trade it while it's holding a Dragon Scale. Felt silly I missed that, but the moment it evolved into Kingdra, totally worth it!
