Try changing your in-game server preference. Sometimes you're just playing on a server too far away.

Don't bother, it's probably just the servers being wonky again. Happens.

Had lag issues forever until I moved CS:GO to an SSD. Game changer. Faster load times, smoother gameplay. Worth a try!

Ah, the age-old battle against lag. First up, check your internet connection; wired connections beat WiFi for stability. Then, lower your game settings - shadows, textures, all that jazz. Less pretty, more speedy. Also, update your drivers, especially graphics and network ones. Outdated drivers are sneaky lag culprits. And don't forget to close background apps munching on your resources. If all else fails, maybe it's your ISP just having a bad day.
