Honestly, why bother? Fullscreen is where it's at. You're missing out by going back to black bars.

To get those nostalgic black bars in CS:GO, you'll want to dive into your graphic card's control panel. For NVIDIA users, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, head over to 'Adjust desktop size and position', and select 'Aspect ratio'. Then, choose 'Perform scaling on: Display' and make sure to check 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs'. Apply these settings, and voila, welcome back to the early 2000s. AMD users, you're not left out. Open AMD Radeon Settings, go to 'Display', and under 'Scaling Options', ensure it's set to 'Maintain aspect ratio'. Bam! Black bars achieved.
