Actually, you only need a Chipped Pot for the regular Sinistea and a Cracked Pot for the rare, authentic Sinistea. Not every Sinistea can evolve with any pot, so make sure you're matching them correctly or you'll be stuck with a teacup that just won't evolve.

To catch yourself a Polteageist in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you gotta first get your hands on a Cracked Pot or a Chipped Pot. These special items are key! Wander around the Stow-on-Side market or check out Delibird Presents in various towns, as they sometimes sell them. Once you've got a pot, find a Sinistea, which is a little ghostly teacup Pokémon, lurking around the ruins or cemeteries in the game. Use the pot on Sinistea, and voila, it evolves into Polteageist, ready to spill some spectral tea!
