How to get stretched resolution in CS:GO

Setting up a stretched resolution in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First, you've gotta adjust the settings on your graphics card. For NVIDIA users, go to the NVIDIA Control Panel, then 'Adjust desktop size and position'. Set scaling to 'Full-screen' and perform scaling on 'GPU'. Make sure to override the game’s scaling setting. For AMD, it's similar: open AMD Radeon Settings, go to 'Display', and enable 'GPU Scaling' and 'Scaling Mode' to 'Full Panel'. Then, just set your in-game resolution to a 4:3 aspect ratio, like 1280x960 for example, and boom, you're set!

Just play on the native res, lol. Stretched res looks weird and messes with your aim.

Been playing with stretched resolution for years. It makes enemies appear bigger and easier to hit, IMO. Just remember to adjust your sensitivity, because the X and Y axis will feel different. It's worth it though!
