How to Lower Ping in CS:GO

So I dealt with this nightmare myself. Tried everything, but what REALLY worked was setting up a Quality of Service (QoS) rule on my router for CS:GO. This basically tells your router to prioritize CS:GO traffic over anything else. Not super simple, but a game changer!

Upgrading your internet plan to one with higher speeds might help, but it's not a magic bullet. Personally, I found that optimizing my PC's settings and choosing servers closer to my location did more for my ping than throwing money at my ISP.

Honestly, just use an Ethernet cable. Wi-Fi is the enemy of low ping.

Wanna drop your ping like a hot potato? First off, try connecting to a server that's closer to you; distance matters! Next, make sure to use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi for a more stable and faster connection. Also, close any bandwidth-heavy apps you're not using, like streaming services or downloads. Finally, tweak your in-game settings to optimize performance. And if you're feeling techy, consider upgrading your router or talking to your ISP about faster options.
