Hot take: Just sleep until it rains. Why bother with a Rain Totem when you can just zzz your way to a stormy day?

Actually, using a Rain Totem's super easy and worth it, especially when you're trying to catch those rain-only fish or need to water those crops without lifting a finger. Used one last season, and it was a game-changer for my farm.

Making it rain in Stardew Valley isn't as direct as pressing a button, but it's doable. You need to craft or find a Rain Totem and use it. The Rain Totem is a craftable item that, when used, increases the chance for rain the next day. Make sure to have 1 Hardwood, 1 Truffle Oil, and 5 Pine Tar to craft it. If your farming level is 9 or higher, you're all set to craft and bring on the rain!
