Actually, in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, you can't Mega Evolve Pokemon. Mega Evolution was a feature in previous games of the series, but in Scarlet and Violet, it's not available. The new games focus on the Terastal phenomenon, which is unique to the Paldea region!

Nope, no Mega Evolution here. We've got Terastallizing now, which is kinda cool too. Miss the old Mega Evolutions, but the new stuff is pretty awesome!

Mega Evolution doesn't exist in Scarlet and Violet. Instead, we got Tera Types. It's like the games are saying, 'Forget Mega, here's something shiny and new.'
