Actually, a much simpler way: Just create a lobby, invite your friends, and choose 'Workshop Maps' as the game mode. Select the custom map you all want to play, and start the match. No need for console commands or IP addresses!

To play custom CS:GO maps with your friends, first, make sure everyone has downloaded the map you want to play from the Steam Workshop. Next, the host needs to launch CS:GO, open the console with the ` key, and type 'map [map name]', replacing '[map name]' with the name of the custom map. After the map loads, open the console again and type 'sv_lan 0' followed by 'status'. Look for your IP address in the output, and share it with your friends. They can then connect by opening their console and typing 'connect [your IP address]', replacing '[your IP address]' with the one you provided. Voila, game on!

Gonna be real, console commands add to the hacker vibe. Makes setting up a custom game feel like you're in the matrix or something. But sure, the lobby method works too if you're not into that.
