How to record CS:GO gameplay

Recording CS:GO gameplay is pretty straightforward, and you've got a few options. First up, if you're using Windows 10 or 11, you've already got the Xbox Game Bar built-in. Just hit Win+G to bring it up, and start recording. If you're more serious about your gaming vids, OBS Studio is the way to go. It's free, open-source, and offers tons of customization for your recordings. Just download, set it up to capture CS:GO, and hit record. Happy recording!

Honestly, just use ShadowPlay if you've got an NVIDIA card. It's built into the GeForce Experience software, and it's super easy to use. Barely hits your FPS too.

OBS is overkill for just recording your plays. Just hit Shift+F2 in CS:GO to use the built-in demo recorder. Cheaper on your system resources and good enough for most.
