Got black bars in CS:GO on your laptop? No worries! You can easily get rid of them by changing your game's resolution settings. Just go to CS:GO's video settings and select a resolution that matches your screen's aspect ratio, usually 16:9 for modern laptops. If that doesn't work, dive into your graphic card's control panel (NVIDIA or AMD) and look for a 'scaling' option, then set it to 'Full Screen'. This should stretch the game to fill your screen, saying bye-bye to those pesky black bars!

Honestly, I had the same issue and switching to a 16:9 resolution fixed it immediately. Plus, messing with the graphics card settings really did the trick for those stubborn bars.
