Easiest way to start fresh in Pokemon Violet? Just fire up your Nintendo Switch, press X to open the main menu when you're in the game, then press both Up on the D-pad + X + B simultaneously. Boom, you'll see the option to delete your save and start a new adventure. Make sure you really wanna say goodbye to your current progress, though!

I tried resetting my game but ended up regretting it. Lost all my progress and my shiny I caught by accident. Think twice before you do it. It's Up + X + B, but seriously, consider if it's worth it.
