Been there, done that. Make sure to add 'host_writeconfig' at the end of your 'autoexec.cfg' file. It saves your settings into the default config file, so you don't have to worry about executing the autoexec file every time you start the game.

Oh, it's super easy! Just create a text file named 'autoexec.cfg' in your CS:GO cfg folder. Put all your custom commands in there. When you start CS:GO, it'll automatically load them. Remember to write 'exec autoexec' in your console the first time to kick things off!
