Signing up for CS:GO Overwatch is pretty straightforward but comes with its requirements. First off, you need to hit at least Gold Nova 1 rank in competitive mode, and you've gotta have 150 wins under your belt. Plus, your account must be in good standing (so, no bans or cooldowns in your recent history). If you meet these criteria, just keep playing and the option to join Overwatch should magically appear in your main menu. It's Valve's way of saying, 'We deem you worthy!'
