To fast-forward through a CS:GO replay, just hit the Shift + F2 keys simultaneously to bring up the demo playback control panel. Here, you can use the slider to skip forward or type 'demoui' in the console if the panel doesn't show up for whatever reason. Super easy and gets you right to the action (or where you goofed up) in no time!
