Soft resetting in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a bit different compared to previous games since they're open-world RPGs. Basically, there isn't a traditional soft reset feature. However, you can quickly restart the game by pressing the Home button on your Nintendo Switch, closing the game, and then reopening it. Make sure you've saved your game at the point where you want to start over from!

Honestly, soft resetting isn't what it used to be with these new games. Just save before you need to and restart the game manually if you need to redo something.
