To use an upgrade, first, you need to catch a Porygon. Then, gather 50 Porygon Candy, which you can get by catching more Porygon or by transferring them to Professor Willow. Once you have the upgrade item and enough candy, go to your Porygon’s details page and hit the evolve button. Voilà! You now have a Porygon2!
