Nope, not all 1999 Pokemon cards are First Edition. Only those specifically marked with the 'First Edition' symbol on the bottom left of the image are considered First Edition cards. The rest might still be from 1999, but they're either unlimited or part of another print run.

Short answer: No. Only the ones with the 'First Edition' stamp are truly First Edition cards. The difference is pretty huge for collectors!

Gotta catch 'em all, but not every 1999 Pokemon card is a First Edition! From my own collecting adventures, I've learned to look for that tiny but mighty 'First Edition' stamp. It's what separates the common from the super rare in the 1999 prints. Always double-check before making a trade or purchase!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
