Are bears really bad in MTG?
TrainingHost路7 months agoNah, bears aren't bad in MTG, but it depends on how you use them! In the grand scope of things, a 2/2 creature for 2 mana (which is what most 'bears' are) can be a decent addition to your early game. They're not game-winners on their own, but in the right deck, they can apply early pressure or serve as a solid defense. Plus, with the right buffs or synergies, they can be pretty formidable.

For real, in competitive play, bears aren't gonna cut it. They're too plain in a game that values complexity and synergy. You're better off looking for creatures with valuable abilities or stronger stats for the cost.
I've actually had some success running bears in my casual decks. It's really about the surprise factor and how you back them up with spells and other creatures. Sometimes, simplicity has its own charm in MTG!
