Decoys can be super handy, especially in the deeper biomes where bigger threats lurk. Just pop one out and watch the baddies chase it instead of you!
In my experience, decoys have saved my Seamoth and Cyclops more times than I can count. They're definitely worth keeping in your inventory!
I found them pretty useful in the later stages of the game when exploring dangerous areas. Better safe than sorry!
