Nope, most of the Dragon Ball movies aren't canon. They exist in their own alternate universes.
Most Dragon Ball movies aren't canon, but there are a few exceptions. Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' are considered canon since they were adapted into the Dragon Ball Super series.
I've been a huge fan for years, and from my experience, the movies are mostly standalone adventures. But Dragon Ball Super: Broly officially joins the main storyline.
