Yep, English Pokemon cards often carry a premium, especially in non-English speaking countries where they're considered rarer and more desirable for collectors. It's all about supply and demand. If there's less of something and people want it, prices go up. That said, condition and rarity of the specific card play a gigantic role in its value too, no matter the language.

Eh, language doesn't really matter. A card's value is more about how rare it is and what condition it's in. English, Japanese, French... if it's a rare holographic Charizard, it's gonna be worth a lot.

Not always. Japanese cards can sometimes be worth more because Japan gets the cool stuff first, like special editions and promo cards that can take months or years to come out in English, if they ever do. Plus, some collectors prefer the original Japanese cards for their collection.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
