Yep, they're just toys. Most Hot Wheels aren't worth much more than what you pay at the store. Unless you've got something super rare or a big ol' mistake model, don't expect to retire on your collection.

Got lucky once - found a '68 Camaro Hot Wheels in a thrift store bin for a buck. Turned out to be a rare color variation from the '90s. Sold it for over $500 online. So yeah, some of them can be insanely valuable!
