It's all about what you're into! Japanese Pokemon cards often have exclusive artwork and can be considered more collectible due to their limited availability outside Japan. They're also printed on higher quality paper, which makes them feel a bit fancier. But, English cards are easier to read and trade if you're in an English-speaking country. Plus, they're what most local tournaments use. So, better is in the eye of the beholder (or the collector)!

No way, English cards rule! Easier to find and use for battles. Why bother with Japanese cards unless you're a hardcore collector?

I've collected both and honestly, Japanese cards have a certain prestige among collectors due to their unique designs and sometimes earlier release dates. But gameplay-wise, there's no difference. It's all about personal preference and the community you play with.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
