Absolutely not. Lands are played, not cast. They're your mana source, not something you use mana on!

Gonna be that person but technically, lands do not use the stack, hence not cast. They just straight-up enter the battlefield during your turn, specifically during your main phase when the stack is empty.

Nope, lands aren't cast in MTG. You simply play them. Unlike spells and creatures that need mana, lands are what you use to generate that mana. So, they just enter the battlefield without the casting fuss.

Short answer: no. Long answer: still no, but with more words about lands being the backbone of your mana pool and not needing to be cast.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
