As someone who accidentally bought a really rare card at a garage sale for peanuts and then sold it for a small fortune, I can confidently say: if you know what you鈥檙e doing, it鈥檚 definitely not a waste of money.

Pokemon cards? Waste of money? Never! I鈥檝e been collecting for years, and let me tell you, the thrill of opening a pack and finding a rare card is unmatched. Plus, I鈥檝e made some of my best friends through Pokemon TCG meetups.

Waste of money? That鈥檚 subjective. If you're just chasing rare cards for profit, maybe. But for fun, community, and the love of the game? Absolutely not.

Nope, think of it as a hobby. Like any hobby, you鈥檙e paying for the fun and the experience, not just the physical cards. If you enjoy it, it鈥檚 worth it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
