Depends on the card. Not every Pokemon card is going to pay for your retirement. Common cards might not see much of an uptick, but those rare, holographic, or first edition cards? Yeah, those can be worth a fortune. Always check the market before you decide to sell or trade.

Nope. Only the really rare ones get you big bucks. Most just sit in a binder.

Absolutely! Pokemon cards have been skyrocketing in value, especially the rare ones. It's all about rarity and demand. Vintage cards, especially from the first editions, and those with errors or unique features can fetch a pretty penny. The nostalgia factor plays a huge role too. People who grew up with Pokemon are now adults with spending power, eager to reclaim a piece of their childhood.

From personal experience, yes! I sold a rare Charizard card I found in my old collection for a hefty sum. It's wild how much some of these cards can go for if you find the right buyer who's looking for that one missing piece in their collection.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
