Honestly, they're not solid gold. Think of them more as gold-tone or having a gold-plated finish for the sake of being fancy collectibles. Still awesome to have in any collection though!

Real gold? In your dreams! They鈥檙e collectibles, not investments.

Nah, they're not made of real gold. Those gold-plated Pokemon cards are actually just gold-colored metal or sometimes a thin layer of gold over another metal. They're cool collectibles, but you're not gonna fund your retirement by melting them down, haha.

Definitely not real gold. They're more for show and collecting rather than actual value in gold. But let's be real, they look pretty epic in any Pokemon collection.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
