Yep, Fallout 4's got its fair share of sea creatures! Most famously, there's the terrifying Mirelurks, which come in various forms like the basic Mirelurk, the Mirelurk Hunter, and the Mirelurk Queen. The Queens are gigantic and can be a real challenge to take down. There's also the smaller, but still pretty creepy, Mirelurk Spawn. Besides those, you've got some less aggressive creatures floating around, but Mirelurks are the main sea-based threat you'll deal with.

Honestly, the sea creatures aren't that big of a deal. Just a bunch of oversized crabs and a queen that throws a tantrum. Easy peasy if you've got the firepower.

Got up close and personal with a Mirelurk Queen once. Thought I was a goner, but managed to survive with a combination of heavy weapons and sheer panic. Can confirm, sea creatures in Fallout 4 are not just a myth.
