Honestly, Welcome Decks are just okay. They're great for learning the ropes, but if you're planning to get competitive, you'll outgrow them pretty fast. They lack the power and synergy that you find in decks you build yourself or in more advanced pre-constructed decks.

Absolutely! Welcome Decks are a fantastic starting point for new MTG players. They're designed to teach the basics of the game with a well-balanced mix of cards, providing a straightforward introduction to the core mechanics. Plus, they're free at many local game stores, making them an unbeatable value for beginners.

As someone who started with a Welcome Deck, I can vouch for their usefulness. They might not be the flashiest, but they do a great job of easing you into the world of MTG. And who knows? Some of those cards might just find a special place in your heart (and your future decks).

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
